Come paint a portrait of your furry friend with the help of Kira, creator of @badgirlclubart! All ages and abilities are welcome, all that is needed is a picture of your furry friend before class. Paintings will be 8x10 canvases, all supplies are provided!

Summer Camp: Painting (Ages 5–7)
Perfect for kids aged 5 to 7, Painting Camp is a weeklong day camp led by Kira Brought. Campers heading into kindergarten through 2nd grade will learn how to look at the world with an artist’s eye through discovery and lots of messy, creative fun.
We’ll explore paintings in Crystal Bridges’ collection, then head back to the studio to turn acrylics and watercolor paints into portraits, landscapes, and abstract art.
Your growing artists will have a blast creating, making friends, and trying new things, and you’ll love that they’re learning about art and culture every step of the way.
Springdale Art Walk
Join us for the Downtown Springdale Art Walk on May 10. Hosted in collaboration with Backroom Social Club, this will be a vibrant evening of local art and margarita tastings in the heart of Downtown Springdale. Stroll through participating galleries and storefronts to discover work by talented local and regional artists while sampling margaritas crafted by some of your favorite local spots.
Healing Canvas
Together, we’ll paint portraits of our lost loved ones—creating a lasting tribute to their memory. Guided by Kira, you’ll be supported step by step through the painting process, honoring their life in a personal and expressive way.
NWA Harm Reduction will also be present to offer education on the complexities of addiction, share tools for responding to overdoses, and encourage open, compassionate conversations. Let’s work together to reduce stigma, build understanding, and support our community with empathy and love.

How?
Once you've purchased your ticket(s), you will need to submit a photo of the loved one you are wanting to paint to Kira at kgbrought@gmail.com
Kira will prep the canvas with a sketch of your loved one for you to paint the evening of the event.
No skill level or age is required, however mature audience suggested for adult topics of discussion.
You will leave the event with the canvas you've painted.
